I recently decided that I needed to spend more of my time on the internet and joined


The first thing you should do before you start baking or cooking is read the recipe. I did not. I just started putting ingredients together. Then I got to sweetened condensed milk, I don't stock that in my cupboards. So, I modified the recipe.
My modified recipe:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2-3 TBSP Milk
- shaved milk chocolate
- 10 oz milk chocolate, melted
Here is my batch from tonight:
They are fantastic! Especially when you are a little over anxious to try one and the chocolate is still warm and melts at the slightest touch, mmmmmm. The kids all loved them.
We will definitely make them again, but next time I will use my favourite chocolate chip recipe and make a couple changes so I can eat it unbaked.
