In May of 2013 I won fabric! Better off Thread was generous enough to ship me her beautiful scraps of Anna Maria Horner - Little Folks voile.
And I did it! I made a quilt with it! It may have taken almost two years, but it is done, and I am so happy!
This will be a wall quilt. I have three quilts that I alternate on my wall, changing with the season/holiday and this one will now join their ranks.
I chose to practice different quilting techniques on this one. I used matching thread, so it does not stand out on the front, and did a combination of free motion and straight line quilting. I love the way a quilt looks when it is densely quilted.
Below is a picture of the back (because it will be hung on the wall, I did not worry about what fabric was on the back). It is still hard to make out the detail in this picture, but you can tell it is there.

I am very happy that I finally dug my heels in and completed this project. Time to enjoy!!
